Why You Should Apply
90.9 % of the vendors surveyed at our last market made a profit, and 81.8% of vendors surveyed saw an increase in their social media traffic. Whether or not your business is just starting out, attending our market is the perfect way to acquire new customers and expose your brand to potential customers. Not only do we promote our vendors leading up to market, but we refer potential customers to them after market as well.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for the dopest of the dopest creative, business-minded makers around! We’re looking for seasoned to beginner vendors who are passionate about their craft with an emphasis on vendors of savory foods, home decor, natural healthcare products and supplements, and ethnic textiles. Your products must be handcrafted, designed by you, or be an artistic service that you provide (i.e. henna body painting). The Melanin Makers’ Market is a juried event; meaning that there is a designated number of booths to fill in each category. If you do not receive an acceptance email by 6/17/21, that means you have not been selected for this market.
Tips for Applying

Please make sure that you have an updated business website or a poppin’ social media platform for us to view your products/services on.
Make sure your brand is clear and cohesive (that your social media conveys the same feel across all your platforms and that your website offers what you're promoting on your social media).
